Executive Advisor & Speaker

Advising high‑capacity executives on vision, strategy, and building the team that delivers them.

Most executives and their teams don’t have a performance problem. They have an awareness problem.

The leaders and teams I work with are usually stuck in one of three places. Each one starts with what they can—and can’t—see.

Vision

Think of it like a puzzle. Vision is the picture on the box—what the whole thing looks like finished. Some leaders can’t see it. Maybe because they’re struggling to see past where they are today.

Strategy

They can see the picture clearly. What they don’t have is the plan—they’re not sure how to approach putting it all together. The picture is clear; the path to it isn’t.

Execution

They can see the picture and they have the plan. What’s left is the pieces—actually getting them placed. And they can’t: the right people aren’t at the table, or aren’t in the right seats. Knowing what to do and getting it done are two different problems.

Hi, I’m Brian Taylor.

I’ve spent twenty years leading teams, developing leaders, and advising organizations as they turn bold vision into exceptional execution. This work is personal for me.

I used to believe performance was the key to the life I wanted. That’s the secret to a full life, but not necessarily a fulfilling one.

As high-capacity leaders, we get very good at reaching destinations—only to realize they weren’t the ones we actually wanted.

I’m convinced God didn’t give us this capacity just to ask us to suppress it. He gave it on purpose, for a purpose.

The answer wasn’t to perform less or get more organized. It was to point it where it was actually meant to go.

That’s the work I do with executive leaders and their teams now: closing the gap between where they are and where they’re trying to go—in a way that’s actually fulfilling.

Closing the Gap

The gap between the vision you carry and the reality your team is living.

When you and your team are trapped in this gap, you often feel it before you can name it. Decisions keep stacking up, leaders aren’t leading, and execution gets expensive and ineffective.

The instinct is to push harder—add initiatives, squeeze more out of the same system. But effort isn’t what’s missing. It’s the distance between the vision you’re carrying and what’s actually getting built. More activity doesn’t close that distance. More often, it widens it.

You can’t close a gap you can’t name. That’s where the work starts: naming what’s actually missing—not the noise, the root. Named clearly, the next move stops being a guess.

1

Get C.L.E.A.R.™

I use a framework and guided assessment process I’ve developed to bring real awareness to where things are today and how we got here.

2

Get Aligned.

I focus a small set of tools around what will actually matter to you and your goals, and add tools as the next steps demand. That keeps the work responsive as things change.

3

Get Moving.

Our work will have a bias toward action. I’ll help you see the potential moves, we’ll pick one, and then you’ll make it. We’ll learn from it and keep moving forward. I’ll stay with you through each step and we will adapt as things change.

The room changes
when the message actually lands.

Most conference audiences walk away inspired but unchanged. I speak to close that gap—connecting leaders to the identity, clarity, and conviction they need to go back and actually lead differently.
